Every person who has HEARD ABOUT Jesus, BELIEVED IN Jesus, and BECOME A FOLLOWER of Jesus has done so because someone else shared Jesus with them. God uses people committed to Him to pursue people who are far from Him.
At LVCC, we are committed to Pray For ONE. This is our simple prayer:
"GOD, PLEASE GIVE ME ONE PERSON TO SHARE YOUR LOVE WITH TODAY."
This Pray for ONE prayer helps us to express:
ALIGNMENT
When we pray this prayer we are aligning ourselves with the HEART of God and His PLAN and PURPOSE for the world. It also helps us stay aligned AS A CHURCH - this is a prayer we are committed to praying every day.
AWARENESS
This prayer ACKNOWLEDGES that God is at work and asks Him to help us be aware of WHERE He is working and HOW we can join in on what He is doing.
AVAILABILITY
This is a prayer of SURRENDER. We pray to make ourselves available to be USED by God to SHARE His love with someone else.
This is a prayer that God loves to answer - we pray this prayer with HOPE, FAITH, and ANTICIPATION because we have a God who is working to bring people back to Himself and He wants US to be a part of that mission!
